Pediatric Nurses Working with Families as a Family
We have a close-knit team at Optimum Pediatric Services. Our nurses are experienced clinicians and incredible, passionate caregivers. One outstanding nurse on our team is Tyshon Williams.
Tyshon is a licensed practical nurse (LPN) and a proud member of the Optimum Pediatrics team. She is unique to our staff because she has experienced our services from not only the perspective of a nurse but also the perspective of a parent.
Her son, who was medically fragile, received nursing services from Optimum Pediatrics. After she saw how much our health care agency cared for children as well as nurses, she decided that she wanted to become part of the family, too.
“I have worked in home health for many years in Georgia and in other states, but I found my home in Optimum Pediatrics. They [Optimum Pediatric Services] believe in feedback from families and nurses on how to provide the optimum care for every individual child,” Tyshon said.
She also believes herself to be more than just an employee. In fact, Tyshon believes that the word “employee” doesn’t do her justice, because she feels that she is more like a family member than an employee at our health care agency.
We are so grateful to have Tyshon as a part of our family, and we know that she has touched the lives of many children and families all over Georgia.
